EC reforms staff pay scheme to reward its talent

first_imgThe European Commission has reformed its staff regulations, replacing asystem that primarily linked pay increases to service time with more per-formance related salary rises. The old set up allowed some people automatic pay increases of 38 per centover 16 years, without any performance-related promotion.
