They thought the lines wouldn’t be as long in Brundidge as they would be in Troy.”Ramage said that Brundidge is proud to be able to offer the governmental services locally to its residents and those in surrounding communities.“We appreciate the willingness of these agencies to work with us in providing these services to our citizens,” he said. “It was our goal from the beginning to offer a variety of services but, with cutbacks in many of the agencies, some of those that we had gotten good feedback from weren’t able to come. But the City is looking for opportunities for other agencies to use the building on days when it’s not being used.”The Governmental Annex in Brundidge is located on South Main Street in the old doctor’s building. Published 11:00 pm Tuesday, August 6, 2013 “Rather than having to go to Troy to the courthouse, you can go down the street to the Governmental Annex and get your vehicle tag in just a few minutes,” Ramage said. “There is ample parking space at the Annex and it’s easy access. This service is available to anybody in Pike County.”OCAP is at the Annex on Wednesdays year around with information about and assistance with its programs and services. The hours are 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.The Revenue Commissioner’s Office will offer its services at the Annex on Tuesdays, beginning the first Tuesday in October and continuing through the last Tuesday in December, 9 a.m. until 3 p.m.“Pike County citizens can pay their ad valorem taxes at the Annex,” Ramage said and added laughing that some Troy residents came to Brundidge last year to pay their taxes. CARE Ambulance is there around the clock every day.”The Pike County Probate Office at the Annex is open from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. the third Tuesday of each month.last_img read more
