first_imgAllen Hurns wasn’t without a team for very long.Just a few days after being released by the Cowboys, the 27-year-old agreed to a one-year deal with the Dolphins early Friday, the team announced. Hurns’ new deal reportedly is worth up to $3 million.  Hurns told NFL Media he has “no limitations” as he’s coming off a gruesome leg injury suffered in the Cowboys’ 24-22 win over the Seahawks in the wild-card round of last season’s playoffs. Cardinals’ Kyler Murray starts training camp as ‘the future of the franchise,’ coach Kliff Kingsbury says Hurns, who played high school and college football in Miami, had 20 catches for 295 yards and two touchdowns last season for Dallas — easily the least productive season of his career. He went undrafted in 2014 before catching on with the Jaguars, where he spent four seasons and caught 21 touchdowns. Now back in the state of Florida, Hurns joins a team in full rebuild mode and will compete for targets with Albert Wilson, DeVante Parker and Kenny Stills. “If he’s not ready to compete for a position, this isn’t the place for him. Allen understands that,” Flores said. “There’s no solidified or locked in spots here. You’ve got to earn them.” We have signed WR Allen Hurns and activated safety T.J. However, Hurns wanted to see what he could get on the open market.
