He is the only wicketkeeper in the 500-match club.Dhoni had made his international debut in 2004 when he was picked to face Bangladesh in an ODI in Chittagong. The result also ended India’s seven-match winning streak.Chasing a modest 149 for a win, England were rocked early when Umesh Yadav removed Jason Roy and Jos Buttler early.They suffered another blow when Joe Root was clean bowled by Yuzvendra Chahal in the in the seventh over.It looked like another collapse but Hales and captain Eoin Morgan joined forces and steadied the ship with a 48-run stand for the 4th wicket.Jonny Bairstow (28) kept England in the game but Bhuvneshwar Kumar had other ideas as he returned in the 18th over and gave away just three runs and also picked an important wicket.However, Hales held his nerves to score 12 runs in the final over bowled by Bhuvneshwar to guide England to a five-wicket victory.Hales scored his seventh fifty and remained unbeaten on 58 off 41 deliveries, a knock that was laced with four fours and three sixes.Earlier, a disciplined England bowling attack restricted India at a moderate 148/5 at Sophia Gardens.Kohli top-scored with 47 runs while Dhoni remained unbeaten on 32 for the Men in Blue.
